Webinar on 30 January 2025 | 3pm to 4pm CET

Jesuit parishes often find it hard to get a look in given the emphasis on high profile sectors such as education, social justice and ecology, and others. Yet the work continues quietly and has an impact that most of us are not so aware of.

Jesuits working in parishes put collaboration into action for example by being inserted in the local diocese or just by the sheer number of lay people, religious sisters and brothers who help out in all sorts of different ways seen and not seen. Our parishes really are at the front line of the mission of the Society as expressed in the Formula of the Institute, ‘the defence and propagation of the faith’. They are involved in the reconciliation of the estranged and in the catechesis of young people and so much more. The Universal Apostolic Preferences (UAPs) can be seen in action in every Jesuit parish.

Join the webinar – the first of its kind to feature parish life – and find out best practises for parish ministry and how the Spirit is moving. A panel of speakers from a variety of situations whether rural or urban will share insights and you will get a chance to raise your questions… and maybe even get some answers. Even if you are not yourself based in a parish, take the chance to learn about our brothers, the work that they do and their so often hidden but spirit filled life.
